Welcome to the Calvary Baptist Church Academic Enrichment Program, a spirit-filled, quality academic enrichment program for students. This program is designed to enrich the overall academic performance of youth by
providing academic assistance in various subject areas. This is achieved through one
on one sessions, integration of learning styles, and participation in enrichment labs
for study skills, time management, and organizational skills. Our program will partner
with parent(s) and teachers to support our students in their current academic endeavors.
The program will offer academic assistance in areas such as mathematics, reading, English,
history, chemistry, physics, biology, science and others. Sessions will take place on
Monday and Tuesday, 5:00pm - 7:30pm. Currently our enrichment staff are volunteers from
the church congregation.
The major goals of the program include:
| - Create a learning environment that is safe
and conducive to academic success. |
| - Develop important study skills that will
help the student excel in both their secular and spiritual studies. |
| - Show our youth that we believe academics
are essential for being productive citizens and disciples for Christ. |
These goals will be implemented through the assistance of a
very capable staff inclusive of:
