Youth Worship

But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant. “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, ” ‘From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise’?” Matthew 21:15-16

Mission:

Our purpose is to provide youth (ages 8 – 12) the opportunity to participate in a worship service designed to increase their understanding and practice of the Christian faith.

Description:

Youth worshipers:

1. Learn to be active participants in worship
2. Are trained to become viable leaders of worship
3. Increase their confidence in the worship experience to enter worship in the main sanctuary

Service Opportunity:

Adult role models are needed to encourage and inspire youth to be creative, free and expressive in worship. Should be gifted o r talented in encouragement.
